Includes articles that range from how NCTSN leadership and missions are linked with other trauma-focused organizations, such as the International Society for the Study of Traumatic Stress. Our Advisory Board includes representatives from the fields of foster parents and families coping with substance use issues, and we hear from them about strides they are making. Committees within the NCTSN, such as the Secondary Traumatic Stress Committee, are devising new and better tools for supervisors to help their staff members deal with the important and often difficult work they do. You’ll also hear from our Culture Consortium, which has been working hard to re-frame conversations and initiatives around racial and social justice.
